The SIMS Pocket Edition application is designed for iPhone users, providing secured access for Alarm Central Station personnel, service technicians, installers, and their clients when used in conjunction with the SIMS iServer. It is essential to note that this application must only be used by authorized personnel working with Alarm Central Stations supported by software from SIMS, Inc. • Dealers can securely access their accounts via a single login, restricted to viewing only their assigned accounts, while customers can access their specific account information.
• Comprehensive reporting features include various history reports, account summaries, and full database reports.
• Enhanced accuracy during installation by allowing personnel to input zones and contacts through the app, enabling on-site approval by end users.
• Technicians are empowered to update premise details such as name, addresses, email addresses, zones, and contacts.
• End users have the capability to modify their premise information and contact details through the application.
• Technicians can conduct account testing independently, monitoring signals and efficiently managing work orders.
• Quick access to Pending Work Orders arranged by proximity for convenience.
• Streamlined operations through detailed work order history reports for dealers, customers, and service personnel.
• Robust activity tracking with an audit trail of user actions recorded in SIMS II/III/SQL history along with access logs.
• Data encryption using a 1024-bit protocol safeguards information exchanged between the server and the app. The app is configurable to individual central station IP/Hostname and port details.
• Compatibility with SIMS II, SIMS III Flat File, and SIMS III SQL installations for seamless integration.
